Contributing to society through 'Future-oriented Intelligence'

Based on our history and a pursuit of truth we have cultivated over many years, Kanazawa University will seamlessly create intellectual value by promoting basic research, applied research, and interdisciplinary research through close collaboration between the humanities, sciences, and medicine as a comprehensive university. We will achieve this through forecasting and backcasting, with an eye on current and future social issues, while traveling back and forth between our local region and the world. In addition, through domestic and international industry-academia-government collaboration and diverse seeds, we will develop empirical research that leads to solutions to social issues and returns the results of our research to society through social implementation. Through these efforts, we will form a world-class center for discontinuous innovation through a fusion of humanities, sciences, and medicine, and contribute to society through Future Oriented Intelligence.
