Kanazawa University has been entrusted to carry out the "Japanese Language Teacher Training and Training Promotion Center Establishment Project" of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Now Kanazawa University is working with various institutions and organizations of the Hokuriku region to improve Japanese language education and the environment for training and educating Japanese language teachers.
As part of this effort, Kanazawa University will hold the 2nd Research Meeting "Regional Japanese Language Education for Living Together" 2024. In the research meeting speakers will report on case studies in Hokuriku region where there is a large foreign population, regarding coexistence with, support for, and Japanese language education for foreigners living in the community.
The research meeting will be conducted both in-person and online on the day of the event. Everyone is welcome to attend.
